Setting up goals for running and then finishing them are a wonderful fulfillment in life.
New year, new goals but before setting up new running goals again for this year, I needed to mention that I was able to finished my four personal running goals last year, 2016.
Below are the following runs I finished, all of which are road runs.
October 15, 2016 – Western Link Circumferential, a run that I finished even though it was already raining in the area. This is the road, which is actually very near our place, and this is my first time to run in this area located at the rear area within our place and an alternative route for those going to Marcos Highway.
November 1, 2016 – World War II Memorial, a run that I did during the observance of the All Souls’ Day and All Saints’ Day. This was a very long run that I did along Naguilian Road but it was definitely worth the experience. This was the first longest run I did along the Naguilian Road, which is going to La Union.
December 13, 2016- Beckel, a run I finished which was extra challenging because of the uphill road although it was just a short one, it will definitely make you ran out of air especially if you are not used to the high altitudes. This is my first run here in Beckel Road which is the road going to Nueva Vizcaya.
December 30, 2016 – Badiwan Viaduct Marcos Highway, a run I finished two days before the year ended and it was a long run too on a busy major highway, which is also worth the run. This was so far the longest route I made in Palispis Highway or the Marcos Highway which is the road going to Manila.
Save the date and have your first run in Baguio City on January 8, 2017.
